swap plans
Some time in the future... probably more than a year away... I'm planning for a swap in my Prelude. From F22 to H22. In the meantime... whats the best way to get some more power from the F22 that's not too expensive (less than $100) and/or (preferably) can be used on the H22 also?
Like headers, the ones that are made for F22 won't fit an H22, right? That would be something that would have to wait till after the swap.
Cold Air Intake is one thing I'm thinking, that should fit after F22->H22 swap, right? Any other suggestions? This is also for a daily driver too with some fast/aggressive street.

Nothin really under $100

Cold Air intake would be your best bet.... Exhaust system but that would be over 100 bucks..I think Cam Gears, IF you buy 2 now and install 1 and wait tell you get your swap. But I have one in my Accord, I havent adjusted it yet...
Well if it can be used on both the F22 AND the H22... over $100 is ok. I just don't want to make any investments in the F22 that I can't switch over easy to H22 or that cost a lot. If it costs too much and can't be used on the H22, it's just going to make the H22 swap further off. Which is long enough as it is
One friend (who's not into imports, he a domestic) said that AEM Tru-Power Pullys would be interchangable between F22 and H22. No? Yes?

I doubt the SOHC and DOHC cam gears are interchangeable. Just drop the hundred bucks on your chassis if it's burning a hole in your pocket, otherwise go put it in the bank and earn 2% interest on it until you get around to the swap.
Your probably right. Finally found them on AEM's website, 2 diffrent part numbers.
I only wish my bank would give me 2% interest.
Thanks for helping put to rest some ideas for now. I'll get the CAI soon and stick with that.
