Default Why am I still slow?

Okay... after the build I am barely beating stock 240sx's... WHY IS THIS?

12:1 compression, forged everything...
b16a head on a b18a1 block.
LS tranny.
stock injectors.

You tell me what I need... I'm thinking tranny or injectors but sometimes I come across things where people with the LS tranny still kickin ass without all the work I've done.

Hondata == $$$ not including Dyno...

U seriously think I need Hondata? I have the Skunk2 ECU u say I need that much control over my fuel/ignition? I just assumed Skunk2 would've made the ECU good for an N/A High C/R motor such as mine.

A generic Skunk program isn't going to be perfectly tailored to your application. Also, you may benefit greatly from either a B16 or a B17A tranny.

Yea, my friend went LS/VTEC done properly other than the LS tranny he's running still. I think if he had a GSR/SI/ITR tranny, he'd be beating me.

Shorter geared tranny will help you a lot. The vtec motors thrive with a short tranny. That will make you a lot faster. You could go Hondata but that is $$ and dyno time. Cams and gears will help too

Dubstaaa. lol.

I just cant decide cuz I've heard of ppl doing fine with some LS trannies... maybe it's BS tho.

So next q. is since there are no good cable shortgear trannies in teh world left... can I just swap out ITR or CTR tranny internals in my LS tranny case?

I would check your timing. If you removed the distributer for any reason you are prob going to have to reset the timing. Are you sure vtec is kicking in. that would make a huge difference in performance. another thing is when running such high compression you need to upgrade the ignition. that also could be why. either way I think you should make it to a dyno just so you know where you are at..

maybe even prelude injectors? but I thought that the skunk program ran rich already... get it dyno'd and get a timing light on their.

Skunk program is a fuel rich program, very fuel rich. You don't need to upgrade the ignition at all, factory honda ignitions are very good. The 10 sec erick's racing civic coupe uses the factory honda ignition, and they have a MUCH more aggressive build than this. How's compression? How do the plugs look?
