It's normal to hear some whistling/squeaking from an intake. Just doublecheck to make sure it's rubbing on anything.

Sometimes they have a similar whistle like a vaccuum that's got the end of the hose opening blocked a little.

First I would check the gaskets and make sure that it's all sealed and there's no leaks. If those are all good... I don't know what else.

Last AEM shortram I did had soft connectors at the end to ensure a tight fit. It got a little crease in it and took us 10mins to smooth it out so it fit securely.

It's normal with a SRI, it happened with my civic and it happens with my teg. Some people like it some hate it, but for piece of mind it's normal so you don't have to stress about it and I don't think that you can get rid of it.

yeah its totally normal. The reason short rams make more power is because they make more noise, or rather they don't focus on making less noise.

Do you mean the silicone connectors? I've never heard of those referred to as gaskets before, my bad.
