Thanx, 1stGenCRXer, contacted a local engine rebuilder[only out of the cars] and they will degrease in heated solution, test for leaks for 100usd/pair of heads , if the heads need flattened, they can do that also for 75usd/pr. Not going to put the heads back on w/o these tests. I presume they clean up with a skin cut of less than 10 thousandths of and inch..Would expect that i require a +10 gasket set?? How is this managed with these 3.2L 92 Acura engines????
I drained engine oil[filters next] and didnt find any water separate from the oil...have a friend who can get oil sample tested for water and Acura antifreeze[presume its some glycol base...ill check with acura dealer who changed it last]..Oil looks dark[after 3500 miles of stop and go driving] but still has its film strength when rubbed between thumb and index finger, using bit of pressure[guess this is an old farm boy trick of my uncles].
So will be hitting on the acura dealer nx wk for 1]their service bulletins[dont think theve ever issued one on "oil in engine coolant", 2]technical support contact at acura[honda] or at least get the service mgr. to contact them.
Still no used 92 Legend L 4dr service manuals for sale....guess i wouldnt part with one, have all my old shop manuals back to the 60's. New copies i may have to order, even though it may take 4 to 6 weeks aro.
Oh, NeverBX, you didnt say how much oil...mine overflowed the expansion tank, and lost at least 2, maybey 3 qts engine oil into the coolant..
Goes without saying that all the rubber coolant hoses will have to be changed..the rad cap is trash, the gaskets are 1.2 times their original size due to the oil. Hope i dont have to change the o-ring gasket between plastic rad top and metal housing...another thing to ask my dealer...

Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with the V-6 Honda engines, but if the shop is going to do that for you, they should also be able to tell you what headgaskets to use to put all the heights back stock. The pricing seems fair as well, good luck.

Coco broke his first rule of troubleshooting..."check it out yourself, dont always count on "expert/dealer advice" to be correct...read on pls....
After much web searching i found that my 1992 acura 3.2L engine[C32A1] does have an engine oil cooler, located just below the water pump...My local acura dealers service mgr and "master mechanic" who found the oil in the coolant expansion tank indicated a head gasket problem[3 to 4 grand fix]. I quizzed them at the time whether it had an engine oil cooler, and its potential for leaking, and they "convinced" me that this engine "did not" have a engine oil cooler on it, so they ruled out potential for it to be leaking...and focused on to head gaskets...
....I must rule out the "oil cooler" leak befor tearing into the engine..ttfn
