Default rear drum-> disc swap q's

word. helping a buddy with a 6gen 2door DX->sir2 hybrid make his car stop.

what rear drum-> disc conversion parts are needed? any websites with pix of swap?

want to do all OEM and perhaps JDM rear bits

im guessing:

for JDM - control arm
hub
brake system (obviously)
e-brake cables
soft brake lines?

we were thinking of buying the complete corner - strut included, all intact still. anyone have experiance doing this?

also, how does brake bias get impacted?

we want to do the fronts as well. what car to get them off of? what JDM civic has the biggest brakes- besides CTR- 5 lug conv. is too $$$

thanx

thanks for the helpful thought, but that was a completely useless comment. might as well have told me to do a oddesy brake swap with the same information.

have you done a teg brakes -> civic swap? JDM or USDM? what model, gen, parts used, etc?

BTW- is a oddesy brake swap possible? it would be kinda cool to be rollin with minivan brakes :P

cant tell you a damn thing about JDM stuff since i dont deal with JDM cars, but as far as civics go the ex sedans with ABS or the 99+ Si may be the best donor cars for brake swaps...
