if you want to run 13's pretty consistent on street tires then go for it, I had a friend w/ one (he blew it) and he managed a 13.3 off ZEX and a 12.6 on the bottle. had like a 2.4 60ft.

The only downfall is that it is a fairly in depth install and the weight of the engine itself in the car.

Suspension upgrades as well as brake upgrades are suggested since the weight of the engine is quite a jump for the Civs suspension. New mounts will need to be used on the install as well (not sure if it still involves welding new brackets or not).

Personally I would just go with a B18 swap since you get virtually the same power out of an engine that weighs the same as the B16....

but then I like to take corners on occasion too

The install should not be much more time consuming then a normal b series swap. and is peak from experiance.

Ummmm...are you sure? Every H swap into a Civ I have seen usually has some relocation work to go with it especially if they want to retain power steering, and last time I saw one it involved mount bracket relocation.

Now I am sure some of this has changed but you can't tell me the swap is virtually the same as a B swap since the sheer size of the engine differs quite a bit (I don't mean HP but physical sizing).

Correct me if I am wrong as I will admit when I am but these are the things I have seen go wrong or at least cause a major pain in the butt during 2 of my friends swaps of this type.

The swap is definately more in depth. The results can be a lot of fun! The ones I have done have been dominant on the street in my area.

h22 in a 95 hb? thats crazy, and like everyone is saying, not worth it. its too much engine for the little car if its gonna be a daily driver. consider the fact you are going to have to get on/off highways or biways, take left hand turns, right hand turns also, and speed bumps or simple dips in the road. keep in mind the engineers at honda spend thousands of hours designed everything to work together, and their design did not take into consideration a 2.2 liter engine that makes significantly more torque, which would twist and snap/crack/fracture your frame.

i hate to do this, but stop the bush agenda? please start a quick political forum so we can debate that.

You know where On-Topic is just as well as I do. I have no reason to start the topic so I will be watching for your post.

i sure do like my 94 hatch with h22a. i havent logged much street time as i run open header for now.
i thin it is very much worth it. it is more involved than a B series, but if you are doing it yourself i say do it.

yesterday my gf's brother's friend was over. he is in an f-body club...and talks a lot of trash about imports.
i took him for a ride. started with a 30 foot long burnout, and hit 80 mph in the driveway (pretty long driveway, less than an 1/8 mile though), spun the tires through 3rd and then slammed on the brakes. i asked him if he wanted to race and he said no point since id win. he was impressed....94 dx hatch, gutted and h22a with open header and intake....
