Default anyone ever used Marvel Mystery Oil?

I work for Mitchell Repair (service manual company), and some of the techs there (I'm an editor, but not a certified mechanic) said that Marvel Mystery Oil is great for freeing up sticky valves. My CRX has an intermittent ticky-ticky-ticky sound coming from the top of the engine. Usually happens after the engine's hot, and the volume is totally random. Sometimes you can't hear it at all, sometimes its totally unmistakable. I know it's not valve lash, I keep it set. Oil and fluid levels are all normal. Anywho, back to my question...

Anyone ever used Marvel Mystery Oil to free up a sticky valve? Thats about all I can think of for what it might be.

It might be the valves.

It could also be the fuel injectors, they can make a noise that sounds very much like ticking valves.

how much should I add? I may add a bit to the fuel and to the engine oil, cuz im kinda wondering if it's an injector making the noise too.

If I add it to engine oil, do I just leave it in there? Or do I run it for a few hundred miles and change the oil? What's a good concentration to add? What's a good amount to add to fuel? thanks
