turbo timing for gsr

i was wondering what most people would suggest for a drag turbo setup on a 97 gsr, running 7 psi?

at 7psi on 93 octane you'd be pretty safe running 17-18 degrees of total timing (not distributer base timing)

What stage should i buy to run mid 13's? HIGH 12's?

You should only need about 10-12 PSI with good tuning to get there.

my friend did the timing for me.. he said he retarded the timing 2 degrees back from stock just to be safe. is that good or should i just run it at stock?
