This is the TWM B-series ITB kit:

Observe the complete manifold, tb's etc. The intake manifold flanges on B- and D-series motors are different.

However, TWM also makes manifolds to bolt a pair of Weber DCOE carbs to a D-series motor. Like this (thanks for the pic Harry):

Now, you don't want to run carbs on a fuel injected car. Well you could but anyway. TWM also makes two-barrell throttle bodies that are shaped just like DCOE carbs.

So, you want ITBs on a D-series you need a DCOE-style manifold and a pair of TWM fakemeout DCOE throttles.

what's the benefit of installing this TB? would it even be smog legal? and how much more WHP we talking about here with this carb bolted on?

It's not a carb, it's an ITB setup but a bit more creatively assembled. Smog legality depends on your jurisdiction. It can add like 30-40 whp but you need a new programmable ECU like an AEM, Haltech, TEC III, etc. Hondata won't work.

The injection hardware will run you like $2300 plus another $1000 minimum for the ECU. No, it's not cheap.

I was answering the question of if you can get ITBs on a D-series, not if it's worth the money.

Hondata WILL work IF you get a map sensor working properly.

It looks like that little black thing int he lower pic is supposed to be a MAP sensor. So, would you need to have one on each TB and average the signal or something?

At least on the actual ITB kits there's a vacuum nipple on each runner. You have to fab up an equalization chamber and then run one MAP sensor off the chamber.

That would be a TPS.
