Default swap/conversion is almost done...

hey guys as some of u might know im gettin a b18 swapped into the HeavyCivic and having it converted to stick

everything is going fine so far
motor dropped in easily enuf, pedals are in, wiring is done

i have no power steering until i buy a new pump but thats not that big a deal

i have come across one small problem...the gsr headers i got dont reach the cat
there's about a 7" gap from the downpipe to the cat

i either have to get my headers extended or i have to find the right kind of headers to use

im sure someone has seen a 99 4dr with a b18 swapped into it

so can anyone tell me what headers to use? 99 SI? LS?

otherwise im stuck extending my gsr headers which is fine but i would rather get the right headers.

any help is appreciated

If you're wanting to save money, take it to a welding shop and get them to bend you a pipe.

did the d series exhuast manifold have the cat inline like the hx's and vx's do? if not id bet on it that your gona have to change the cat not the exhuast manifold to get it to match up correctly.

just have an exhaust shop make you a pipe to connect the header and cat...
