I was never once beat by a hybrid running a B18c5. I ran 13.6 all day with my stock H22 in a 95 civic coupe(no LSD) I have a friend running a B18c5 in his 92 hatch on slicks and he still couldn't beat me. I did break axles once though.

i say i would go with the h22a worth the work...in a recent Super Street they had a 96+ civic hatch with an h22a and custom turbo setup putting out about 448whp was pretty nice looking to
