H22 pistons = 87mm. I don't know of any way to get a B-series block out to 87mm and if such a method does exist, it would be so expensive as to make using OEM pistons borderline sacrilege.

Another more basic problem. B-series motors have iron sleeves. H-series motors have aluminum/carbon composite sleeves. In a B-series motor you can use aluminum pistons just fine. You cannot use aluminum pistons with the H-series sleeves because of the metallurgy so the stock H-series pistons are coated as to not seize up on the cylinder walls. Slap em in the iron cylinders of a B-series and you're guaranteed problems.

All the B-series blocks have an 81mm bore aside from the B20B/B20Z which have an 84mm bore. If you resleeved any of the 81mm motors and bored to 84mm then you would be able to run OEM B20B or B20Z pistons. But why would you skimp on the pistons if you shell out the big bucks to resleeve the block?

You're not gonna gain too much power by punching the bore out and keeping the same stroke as before. If you plan on resleeving the block anyway, it won't hurt to go out to 84mm instead of the standard 81. But I wouldn't get the new sleeves just to widen the bore.
