Guys, first of all, i have no external vacuum leak. Secondly i DO have the service connector jumped to throw the codes.. the only one being thrown at this time is 36.. its crazy. Anyways, today i attemped to do what yall said so i let the car warm up, then disconnected the iacv and car immediately idled down and shut off. This is what is supposed to happen when you unplug the iacv from a running car. Give me a step by step of what i need to do because right now im thinking i have a problem somewhere. Thank you

After you disconnect the IACV you have to restart the car with your foot on the gas and then reset the idle speed. Follow all the steps Helms says in the link I posted above and see if you still have the problem.

would i be doing this with the motor hot or cold? So basically i just go out there and unplug the iacv with the motor running. Then wait for it to die. Then restart with gas pedal depressed. Adjust the idle screw and plug the iacv back in? Doesnt make much sense to me but ill try it... let me know

Wait to the temp to come up to full operating temp before you pull the IACV. You've basically got the process down but Helms can explain it better than I can and I've already posted the link. So freakin click it already!
