I know basics about a car but not enough to solve this problem....I own a 97 Honda DX (manual) and i am wondering why my car shakes when i shift into gear in the morning. it usually happens when i go to first and/or second gear. im not undershifting and i usually "warm" the car up before i drive off and it helps and after driving for a couple minutes it disappears completely but what needs to be replaced so it doesnt do that?

 

maybe ur engine mounts are worn. replace them?
