Grounding? is it done and will it work..
I stumbled upon something about if you put an extra ground on the battery it could help put down a lil extra hp....or something like that.....i saw something about it in import tuner...and also my friends did it to there 3rd gen rx7 and helped it out...was wondering if anything similiar would be benefit a teg...?
Proper grounding may smooth out the powerband slightly if the vehicle was poorly grounded to begin with. However, you probably wouldn't even notice much of a difference, if any, between the use of an aftermarket grounding block and just using the stock grounding locations and straps that are in good condition. If you come across an aftermarket grounding kit for relatively cheap and have some money to throw around, go for it, but you're probably better off looking for power elsewhere.
Here's a relatively cheap alternative to the HKS Circle Earth and similar products:

Yes, I saw in the new Import Tuner that they tested a grounding kit. They did it on multiple cars through different RPM ranges. There was a gain in HP with the new grounding kit. Surprising to me because I've never really thought about it.
