okay, been gone for a while (like u missed me )
99-00 Civic Si 2612 lbs 15.7 1/4 mile stock
94-98 Teg LS 2643 lbs 16.1 1/4 mile stock
94-98 Teg GSR 2671 lbs 15.5 1/4 mile stock
Those Integras are HEAVY let me tell you...ANYONE thinking of putting a B16A into a HEAVY ASS Teg is stupid. 30lbs, gimme a break, I'll go run around the block for a few weeks, after looking at the curb weights everyone can eat me! All I've heard is how damn heavy an LS is and how slow it's going to be, BS. I'll do the swap, eventually get some times, and prove I'll make this sucka work!

if your gona make that tranny work your gona have to change out the speed sensor to an eletric one from the teg tranny.. now also remeber a b16b is a destroked b18c-r as well..and the ctr doesnt redline at 9k..the only factory honda car that redlines at 9k is an s2k..a ctr redlines at 8400..wtf..get your information right..and as anyone said.. and anyway you look at it..your car is going to be slower with a b16 than a nonvtec b18 or even a vtec b18..cams..nawzzz or even fi... its just not going to be faster unless you build the b16 and leave the b18 stock..money for money your gona be faster with the damn b18... wiring isnt and issue either way anyways..

Default Hey DUBSTER! WANA GOOD LAUGH?!

Cool! Your gonna put a B16A in your teg! Im gonna build a turbo that recycles exaust, filters it and then puts it back into the intake for extra boost! Im not sayin it cant be done, what Im sayin is IMO its retarded!

B18B- solid engine
B16A- solid engine (with VTEC)
You guys are neglecting one key point.... He's gonna have an extra swap right now, one which he could probably sell to some sap for almost the price he paid for his b16. Granted a B18B turbo might be able to beat a built B16, it'll cost a lot more money than the $1500 he'll have to invest to get that B16 rippin, and he'll have that extra motor to sell...
If you can tho, get a hydro swap, cables suck....

lsvtevman420 is just overflowing with great knowlegde. Be sure to read all of his other posts as well.

If you do it and it can hang performance-wise, then try it. What the hell, right?

If not, well then...I guess there are ways around it later. Good luck, which ever route you choose.
