I know what u mean but i just want it more reliable and less maintenance.

Ive ordered supertech valvesprings and retainers, and ek9 pistons and rings.

Ive read the cams im using need at least 11.5.1, but are better with 12.5.1
How imperitive is it? and how much better would it be at 12.5.1?

It would make more power at a higher compression but you will also have a smaller margin of error in tuning because of possible octane restrictions. What octane fuel do you guys get on the other side of the pond?

anything from 11-12:1 is good for those cams. you dont need insane compression to make power.

200bhp is certainly possible. that's only ~170whp.

i make 200 whp on my b18a on 5psi of boost and its been reliable for 2 years now. on 10 i make 248whp so theres a good correlation. and it was completely stock. well i do have arp rod bolts and 272 cams but that was before alot of power. so its easy to make good power and be reliable. my pennys are gone.
