i dont currently own a honda or acura but i am wanting to get one. I do like the prelude, accord, civics, integras and others (not del sol way to small) any way should i get a shell and swap in the engine i want?

what engine is the best 4 cylinder honda made? I have been looking at alot of preludes that have f22 and h22's and others with i think they are called h23's or somethin, i also here about b16 and b18. i want a manuel also.

I do have a budget of 1000$ bucks on a motor and if the car runs 2-3k on the car so should i go with the stock motor or change it?

i would like a motor that will get decent mpg and is VERY upgradable(i dont know if i will turbo it or not)the only thing is that i hate wiring and dont know much about imports.

"best" is such a subjective term. everyone has their own opinion. you'll get 10 different answers which will just confuse you even more. it's up to you to research what's available and come to your own conclusion based on that info. i'll tell you though, $1k for an engine doesnt leave you room for anything beyond a d series.
