Default Should I do this with an integra?

I want to get a 2000 integra, But I want to Put a H.22 V-tech prelude motor in it!

I know A few people who have put them in Civic,

And those things are beast!

and a civic is really the same thing as an integra!

I love the h.22 motors also, there the biggest 4cylinder motor that honda makes,

or used to make~

should I?

It has been done more than a few times, thats not exactly a rare swap.

I understand why you would swap an H22 into an LS/GS/RS, but If your starting with a GSR thats a stupid decision, IMO.

(Trying to add some tech here, before your Thread goes to the recycle bin.)

yeah, do it. ill give you 100 bux for your old motor and tranny

in all seriousness, no, i personally would not waste the money. id probably boost it. it would be cheaper that way and alot less work.
if your really serious about the h22, my offer still stands

1) H22A2 is far from rare. If you want to impress people, think K20 or K24.
2) The stock B18C1 has plenty of potential for the same amount of money.
3) I know this is the internet, but swearing like a sailor isn't going to help your crediblity much.

Moved to Engine Swaps, where this thread will hopefully take a turn for the better.

stupid idea when the b18c1 is such a powerful engine to start with. it's a technical downgrade going to a h22, though smaller in size the potential on the b in stock form is much more enticing to me.

if you havent bought the car yet buy a ls/gs/rs and do it into that, don't murder a dc2 when it will net you the same thing.

Actually it's the K24 .

I'd try to stay away from swapping an H-series motor, I would just boost the existing motor that you have.
