Default Broken H22 block, need some info

Hey guys,

Just registered. This is my problem, I bought a 95 lude for cheap, but the engine block (H22) is broken (2" hole ), so here is my question : I have an H23 block (no internals) sitting around, and I want to know if I can use it to repair the engine, using all the H22 internals, and head. I'm not looking for more performance, its just that I already have the H23 bare block. I did search but didnt find a definitive answer. The only thing that I found for sure is that I will have to "open" the oil pasage for the Vtec, but didnt give details. Will apreciatte any info.
