Default B20 with VTEC head

I am thinking of buying a b20/VTEC for 3k and get it put in for 450 dollars. Is that a good deal? Also what does the b20 bottom end rev out to safty? the head has a GSR head with matching cams and the tranny is acura too.

unless you know exactly everything that was done to it, who built it and how they built it, buying somone else's b20vtec could cause more headaches. these engines require lots of attention and care for them to run right.

The safest rev point would be the stock redline on the b20 engine.

without knowing exactly what was done to the engine keep the rev limit to the stock b20's original.
