Default code 43 on ecu in a 90 LS

ok so my car starts up just fine... but if i run it hard, sometimes it dont wanna go to redline... but if i push it harder it will drive fine again... i was told that the fuel pump was changed at one time w/vinum one.. an i changed the fuel filter an it still throwing a code 43... its a 95 b18b motor running a obd0 ls ecu...

try this. the fuel pump relay can be reset by unhooking the battery for 5 minutes, hooking it back up, then turn the ignition switch on and let it sit for a few 5 minutes. cut switch back off and then turn back on, you should be able to hear the pump running, try cranking the car. hope this works for you
good luck.
