Default spark plugs

i was checking my spark plugs to make sure my ls is running rich because it's turbo when i looked at all the plugs they all have rich all over the threads but the bottem is white or light gray am i running lean am i running fine am i burning water when i full throttle it i get a lot of white smoke is my turbo going

what are you using for tuning? you should hook a wideband up to it so you know whether you're running rich or lean.

i just bought a wideband i'm waiting for it in the mail what numbers should it be to be good or perfect when i get it

What are you tuned with?

There is no exact number you should look for on your wideband. Your AFR's should vary depending on RPM, boost, and ignition parameters.

i have a tuned ecu it has a chip in it i think i'm burning water because i'v notice my radiator is always missing a little water i fill it let it go for a couple of days and i have to put about a coke can in of water i looked for leak i didn't see any i don't know what else and i was told by phearable.net john vega to keep it in 11 or something like that he said anything higher i'm to lean and anything lower i'm to rich and losing power

tuned ecu with what? crome? hondata? was it actually tuned by someone on a dyno or is it just a burned chip with god know's what values?

it was tuned on a dyno with a eprom chip

You're running boost on an EPROM? Jesus christ, get hondata or Crome or something. What's your fuel setup?

If the electrode of the plug is white, you are definitely running lean. If the threads are black, that's oil on them.

i have a fpr and 450 injecters if i use a crome or hondata i can't use them until there tuned right how does a hondata work or crome work

you need to find a good tuner, now if you want that engine to last.
