heres a breakdown of whats going on:

-Between 3000 and 4000 rpm my engine bogs down

-There's usually power below 3k and above 4k just not in between

-It doesn't happen all the time and it doesn't seem to have any correlation with how I drive before hand

-I've replaced my plugs, wires, distributer cap and rotor and my fuel filter

-It also seems like it started after I replaced my timing belt and water pump

-I changed my timing belt because I heard a loud snapping noise one day when I revved into the Vtec

-A new symptom has just recently occured where my engine cuts out completly for a second before driving normally again

any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

 

One more thing. The car has 200 000km (120 000 miles) on it and it's a 94 Del Sol Vtec with a B16A3. It would probably help to know what car I drive.
