HELP B18C1 troubles
hello, i ahve a 92 civic hb vtec.
my problem is i have recently swapped a 94 gsr into it and it is jumping idle.. i adjusted the angle of the cap and it helped the high idle a lil now its down to 1900 when cold.. thats not the only problem.. another porblem is it is jumping idle bouncinmg up and down if u will when it gets warmed up a little bit..
also it seems to be over heating fast very fast i replaced with a supertech thermostat thinking that wa the porblem and it still over heats come to find out that the fan isnt kicking on so i checked with a test light to see if the plg was getting power.. it was not so i tesatd the plug on the sensor down at the thermostat housing it is getting power i also checke the plug o0n top the manifold, it is not getting power, and i checked the one on the throttle body it is also not egttiong any poweri checked the toehr round plug behind the manifold to the right of the tps not getting any power.. woudl the fan not getting any power be result of the water pump not kicking on..??
how much fluid is necessary to fill an empty sytem? the relay i can chere it kick on when i make contact with the thermo connector i can hear it click but nothing from teh fan side.
also my hood wont onpen now i thinkit disconnected.
i need major help on this i live in pa. near williamsport more outside country of montoursvillle. can anyone help me with these prpoblems i dont have the money to take it to a diag. shop.
and i do not have access to a scan tool.
when and if i casn get my hood open without cutting around the emblem how shoudl i go about testing and finding out what the heck is wrong.. how does the coolant system work with all the sensors ectect in realtion to the water pump? please help! i could pay someone like 150$ if theyd be willing to come here and help me solv this porblem and fix it with me ..
parts i need
i also need the bracket for where the harness attaches to the body ont he passenger side.., the purgevalve and maybe even a water pump..
