Default How much boost?

What psi would you recomend for a b18c1 with stock internals, and what turbo with what trim and downpipe?
And if your wondering what HP i am aiming for, it is what ever i can get out of stock internals.

Any help will be grate thanks.

you can get 300-350whp from a b18c1 with stock internals. 300whp to keep it safe.

if you're just looking for a bolt on kit the peakboost kit with standard t3/t04e turbo can get the job done. dont forget to upgrade the fuel system and something to tune with.

i was looking at 255lph fuel pump, 440c inj and CHROME to tune with a 3 bar map sensor.

So how much psi (safely) will i be able to run?

psi does not matter. you can make 300whp with 10psi on a gt30. yet only make 250whp at that same 10psi with a t28.

So what would it be for a t03/04e to make 300whp?

10-15psi. it varies depending on many factors.

So what kind of setup would i need to make 280-310whp?

if you dont want to bother piecing together a kit, i'd go with the standard peakboost kit with the t3/to4e or a t3/60-1 for more power but a little later spool, upgrade to a 255lph fuel pump. 750cc or bigger injectors, allows for more room to grow, 3bar map sensor, 3'' exhaust, and something to tune with. assuming the motor is healthy.

And that would be ok to run on standard internals?
The reason why i am asking is that my mate has just turboed his b16 and he has put je pistons and eagle roads in with a t03/04e with a ssac kit and he took me for a spin. And now i want to turbo im just tryin to do it the cheap'ish way (but want it to stay reliable) im just tryin to get my head arround that the b18 can take 300whp standard no matter wat psi i run.

350whp would be the upper limits of what i consider safe on a stock internal b series.

what surprises me is your friend spent the money on good rods and pistons but cheaped out on the turbo kit.

cheap, fast, reliable. pick two.
