I am using a p28 ecu the vtec selanoid has one wire that i ran to a4 than i ran the ground for the pressure switch and the other wire for the pressure switch to d6 that did not work at all so than i found something different on the comp it said to tie both of the wires that go to ecu and put them as one in a4 and than ground out d6 when i tried that the check engine light went off and vtec was def working for the frist time about 15mins later the light came back on and no more vtec

sounds like there is a problem with a solenoid then . it might be ok but then might not be. good luck its super hard to diagnose without being with the car ya know.

yea i guess it is possible that the selanoid is bad, i have been reading a whole bunch of different ways to wire vtec up i thought that there was only one way to do the job so now i am not even sure what way to go with, it just might be something stupit like wrong wiring
