Default Tornbonator?

Anybody know anything about torbonators. Are they a good thing to use or not? Can they be used with throttle body spacers?

not a turbonator!!! A complete exhaust system for starters, throttlebody, CAI, intakemanifold, headers, and catback.

k thanx primetime you got anymore advice on those things. maybe what brands are the best to go with. Also is a throttle body spacer a good thing to use or is it also just a waste of money. As you can tell i am very new at all of this. Any help or advice would be really appreciated.

don't do anything to your car unless you want to boost. Everything else is pretty much just a waste of money because to get anything you'll be:

A) paying more than you would for boost
B) be getting less for that money

theres not enough in basic bolt-ons to warrant some of their high prices, esp. when the hit to the resale value is factored in.

with all the stuff primetime mentioned you'll be looking at maybe 10-15 horse at the crank, and on top of that you'll lose throttle response to the new CAI. and a throttle body is a hair brained idea as well.

i suggest you focus on getting suspension work done if you want the car to feel faster, it will give you the most noticeable gains in adrenaline, if thats what you're looking for.

Depends on what you are trying to do. if all motor then the exhaust system needs to be done. higher compression pistons, Cams, port & polish, light weight flywheel, light weight crank, chipped ecu, bigger injectors, tuning. there is a limit as far as HP with all motor but there is always something to be said about an all motor gsr pushing 280 HP (Most Hp i've seen from an all motor gsr)

If turbo your going to need a bigger catback, A turbo kit, A tunable ecu, and arp rod bolts. you can only push about 10psi with this set-up but with forged rods and pistons you can push more. like i said it all depends on what you are trying to do! With a turbo and forged internals the sky is the limit, on any motor!! personally i am building my gsr be all motor for daily driving and track/time attack uses. I want to get an 02 Lexus IS300 and turbo that car (same motor as the non turbo supra's)!!!
