Running Rich...
Swap: B18C1 in '95 Civic DX
Ok, here's the symptoms: it idles fine, but when I push the gas at all, it hesitates. I can't even put it in first gear and try to go without it dying. I really think that it's running rich and I took the spark plugs out (brand new NGKs) and they're black.
I'm running these fuel items:
Venom Injectors (250cc)
AEM FPR
AEM Fuel Filter
stock ITR FPR
I'm going to try timing it again and possibly get an adjustable FPR along with an air/fuel meter.
Anyone have any ideas?

how was it before the 250's? maybe lose the injectors or beef up the spark.
mine was doing the same thing but i had 310's and took them out, saving for msd before putting them back in. It was really doggish almost till the end of first gear, then it kicked....yours like that

I don't have anything to reference it to. When I got the motor, the injectors and rail were not on it. I do have an MSD Blaster external coil, Magnacor 10mm wires and NGK Iridium plugs.
Think an AEM FPR will help?

Those injectors are your problem. Unless you have some decent all motor mods you don't need them. The a/f gauge won't do much, they aren't very accurate. If I was you I would just get a b&m FPR and the filter top gauge.

but, I plan to turbo in about March.. I should need them then right?
I thought the B&M was an inline FPR and used the stock FPR too? Wouldn't I want to replace the stock one?
So, should I get stock GSR injectors?

Use stock GSR injectors until you go turbo. You'll probably need bigger than 250's anyways. I have a b&m FPR and it works fine.

Late response,
No, never replaced the MAP sensor.. tell me a little about it...
I'm running a stock ITR FPR so I can't set it to what I want, that's why I'm going to get an adjustable one.
