It is not a practical solution... nor a cost-effective one.

Add the requisite wiring to control the VTEC solenoid and use the appropriate ECU for your setup.

Does this have anything to do with your inspection issue? If I remember correctly, you have an OBDI GSR and you need to convert to OBDII, correct?

hey sorry bout that Dave, nah it has nothing to do with my car, a buddy of mine has an ecu he bought on ebay and it was supposed to be a Skunk2 ecu and it turned out being just an ls (lol) but he wants to do an ls vtec setup on a new shell and i've never done it so was trying to get info. Thanks guys

send ecu to ZDYNE. they do wonders.. one wire vtec conversion, elimate rev limiter, add bout 20+ hp, ect. ect. cost about 300 bout very worth it

nonvtec ecu's can be converted to vtec. check out www.pgmfi.org
