In what way is the LS more then the b16. I just recently bought a b16a cost me 800 bucks. I got a LS for 300 bucks, did a full rebuild on it and was still cheper then the b16. As well as getting some mild head work on the LS. LS's are a dime a dozen now, not to mention lower compression. I had my LS to 18psi on a OEM rebuild a snapped the ring lands. so IMO the LS holds up pretty well. and it more cost effective. course it does depend on location too bigger cities do charge alot more for there motors .
