Okay so do you need to put on your stock air box or can you roll in with a CAI? I know my 94 Accord with a 95 H22a1 will pass. But the CAI is buggin me.
I had a friend who took his car to the ref with his CAI. He had the carb sticker so it was legal but he didn't pass. They told him to try the stock air box. On his second try, he passed. Save yourself the trouble and smog your car with OEM parts. Just because its CARB legal doesn't mean its going to pass smog.

mrmike....I talked to the state ref in San Bruno and he tells me it has to match the car the engine is in now. He told me it also depends on how anal the state ref is.
