99 gsr 5 speed help

i got 99 gsr and when i am on the highway my rpms are 3000 is that suppost to be like that or not when i go 70-80 its like 4000-4400 rmp any help would be appreciated thanks guys

that's normal. im sitting right at 4krpm@80mph with my gsr tranny.

if you think that's bad just be glad you dont have a b16/itr tranny.
