ECU??????? help

I have a 99acura 3.2 vetec in a sand rail buggy with vw bus trans i started it the other day reved a few times for a friend to here new exuast about third rev motor stayed raceing like throttle stuck I picked up another ecu & hookedup now fuel pump wont run & wont start
