Default 2.0L road

I have a b16a2 that I'd like to make 2L, and was wondering if I should bore it out, stroke it, or just get a b20 block. I want 250hp n/a, and the ability to handle a maximum of 150hp from a computerized nitrous system. This is my daily driver for now FYI.

you would need to bore and stroke a b16 to get 2L. even then it still wont reach your power goal. start with a b18a/b/c block and sleeve and bore to 85mm. are you looking for 250whp or bhp? there's a big difference. the compression needed to make that kind of power wouldnt take too kindly to that much nitrous.

Default hmm

If I could throw a 150 shot at it I might settle for 250 hp at the flywheel, but I just read something about a 300hp b20vtec (in n/a trim), couldn't I use darts M.I.D.S? I want 400whp and I want to do things a little dif than the norm (turbo, super, or 50 shot), so that's my issue. What about a stroked b16 compound induction motor? I wish I knew everything!

a 400whp engine is not possible without boost.

if you intend to drive this thing on the streets at all, shoot for 230-240whp with no spray as a max.

Default bummer

Out of curiosity, what kind of 0-60 times will that hp produce? Is there a website that just has engineering formulas?

there are too many factors to give you any kind of 0-60 numbers. gear ratios, wheel and tire size, vehicle weight, skill of driver. just to name a few.
