Do turbos require engine rebuilding ?

Default Do turbos require engine rebuilding ?

sup everyone,....i've never had a turbo on car b4, but i wasn't sure if you could put one on a stock engine without damaging it, or would i totally have to rebuild it ?.....i have a 94 prelude s, with an f22a4 "messed up the original f22a1 "...... any comments, thoughts, or pointers are greatly appreciated...thanx

if compression and leakdown test numbers come out good you can turbo the stock engine. but dont get too crazy with the boost or you will blow it up. to handle more boost then you would need to rebuild.

155k and still runs like brand new for me. If you want the piece of mind, it wouldn't hurt to build up the block. I would do it, but I can't afford the downtime.
