Default B16A2 motor/Type-R Tranny

I was wondering if the Civic or Integra Type-r tranny would fit onto my EG6
B16A2 motor? Do I have to change anything on my motor? Clutch? Flywheel? What difference will I notice? I'm a rookie at this, please help me. Does 1,100.00 sound good for a Type-R Tranny? And how can I tell if it's a Type-R tranny? I saw the LSD hole on the tranny.

Thanks!

your b16 tranny is identical to the itr tranny only it has an lsd. unless it's a jdm 98+ itr in which case it would have a 4.7FD. but yes, the itr tranny will bolt onto your b16 no problems.

if i were you, i would just install an lsd and 4.7 in your b16 tranny.

yay but after buying the diff. gear set and lsd and having them installed and tranny put back(a good lsd will cost you at least $500 brand new and thats a obx and if you get a quaife or phantom grip you gonna pay at least $900 or more) in you might as well just get a ITR tranny....i got a bent shift fork in my b16a2 tranny and im probably just gonna get a ITR tranny so i'll have a lsd...i thought even the tranny in the US ITR has the diff. fd ratio than the b16a2 tranny?

all us itr trannies had the 4.4fd. only jdm 98+ ones had the 4.7. you can save considerable amounts by doing the labor yourself. just grab a helms manual and dig in.
