Default I think I broke my driveshaft!!! Help!!

So im new to honda's, and I just got the 93eg6 4 days ago.
Tonight after a nice rip around the neighborhood, i did a burnout and all of a sudden, no more wheels spinning, just the engine revving. I ended up pushing my car home with a buddy and it was dragging a piece of metal(a round rod). the left side is intact, my camera just died and i dont have pics.

does anyone know how much this would cost to fix, like parts and labor wise?

Also, all this happend when my trip meter was at 666 and is continuing to run up, even though the car is not in gear, is this what happens when you break a drive shaft?

Help is appreciated.

Peter

I think that what you broke was the axle. The part itself is cheap, you can get it/them, if you broke both, at autozonel. Labor wise, I think you would save a lot doing it by yourself. I don't know why the other wheel is not moving tho...

1) serves you right for treating your car like crap
2) you broke an axle
3) you can get a new one at NAPA for about $50 w/ a lifetime warranty
4) read this: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...d.php?t=173647
