Bro, you arent special. Ive been to several different forums asking questions, and I basically knew what I was goin to do already. I just wanted some feedback and reassurance before I waste time and money on something that runs perfectly fine now.

Buddy your an idiot. Westcoaststyle knows his sh*t, and as he mentioned, he told you what to do the very first time you posted and replied. :slap:

:chuckles:

Thanks man. And, yes, it could be the BOV as well. If not adjusted to be stiff enough, it could be opening up. Definitely a possibility.

sorry dude dont be a prick about it when westcoaststyle was trying to help...even as little as i know about boost as soon as i saw the original post i could have told you that it was the wastegate srping and been 90% sure...if you have a sping thats rated for 10psi then you SHOULDNT be able to make 15 psi unless you have a srping that is made for 15psi or more

PS not trying to be a prick either but dont ask a question and later say i knew what it was i just wanted to see what yall think...if you KNOW for sure you wont ask...at least in the form of a question...especially when some of the stuff you said makes you look dumb

Actually, not to call you out here, but your spring boost level assessment is incorrect. The spring should allow for boost with a boost controller for up to about twice the rated psi/bar. I had a 10psi spring in my 35mm TiAL that would only allow me to get up to 20 psi regardless of what I did with my boost controller. You are correct if you're not using a boost controller, but he's mentioned that he is.

Thanks for the backup though. :hs:

this sounds funny to me. but anyway stock head what an 8 valve non vtec. or what. i guess it doenst matter. i pull my wg ref line off and it goes up to one bar. but thats ok. its internal. i think we have all got the response that we needed form this guy.

wg spring can go double with mbc and bov can casue a "boost" leak without knowing. among other things leaking pcv and head gasket or intake gasket or even mani gasket, we cant see the car and therefore cant help em out on this situation.
