what do i need

Default what do i need

i have the ls motor and would like to put the gsr motor in it my car is a 1990 i know i need the obd 1 wire conversion kit and the head and block and ecu but do i need any thing else plz help and will my check engine light stay off

you need the gsr motor mounts, the gsr engine wiring harness, gsr axles, gsr injectors, In short you need the entire motor! you shouldn't get a check engine light unless there is something wrong with the motor.

thank you very much hopefully this wont be to difficult
i can still use my current ls tranny with the cable clutch right?

you can use the ls tranny, but why would you? acceleration will suck with it.

if you can't afford a gsr, type r, or b16 tranny then use your LS tranny untill you can afford those trannys
