Default B18C in 93 del Sol

I'm trying figure out if I put a B18C (JDM) in my car that comes w/ ECU and harness, is there anything I have to modify? And what is the difference between 96-97 spec and 98-up spec?

Thanks,
Lambert

you need to do alot more clicking on the Search button....then come back with more specific questions.

You cant use the JDM harness anyway.

Ok look.......A JDM B18C will swap into a del sol with little problems.

If you buy a swap...buy it from www.hmotorsonline.com If you call them up....They'll incude almost everything you need to do the complete swap....Everything but shift linkages I think. So you'll need del sol VTEC shift linkages. You can get em from www.inlinefour.com. Hasport makes motormounts specificly for this swap so there ya go, done with that. If you buy from Hmotors they'll supply the right ECU but you'll need a conversion harness for it....I cant remember where to get one off of the top of my head but do a search and you'll find em. Axles are easy. Just use 94-97 Del Sol VTEC axles or Hmototrs will supply tou with the right ones.

Hoped this helped.
