Default P72 ECU WITH IMMOBILIZER How to remove it

i swapped 01 gsr's engine and have 01 GSR ecu. the ecu has immobilizer, my civic won't start with it.
Is there way to remove it?

Should i get 98 p72 ecu with out immobilizer and conversion harness to OBDIIb?

please help, need car to be drivable well. Thank you

I looked into this some while researching for my future swap.

I don't think the 98 ECU is what you want to do.

There are companies that will remove the immobilizer from the ECU for you, which will allow the car to operate normally; but you check engine light will always be on.

A standalone (like AEM EMS) will also work, and not set off the CEL.

You might be able to swap ingnition assemblies with one from a GSR. You would need to have Acura program a key for you. I am not sure how much modification, if any, would be required for this swap.

I think these are your only options if you want your car to perform well.

Will This setup work:
96-99 OBD2a P72 ecu and conversion harness from OBD2b to OBD2a.

Were 96-99 integras equipped with immobilizer?
if not i will go for this setup.

Also should i go for OBD1?
