I just got a 1996 civic, i want 2 put the best motor that will handle some boost safely. i want H22, but i've heard they don't do well w/ boost overtime. give me some suggestions. thanks!!!!!

 

For most boost B18B their cheap to buy easy to build and can handle a whole hell of a lotta boost

Kris1212... you need to give a better response than two words. The B18B handles boost better when left stock compared to a h22. The h22 also costs much more and is a little bit harder to swap in. But if you have the money to get a h22 and build it up, then it should handle a good amount of boost. Some people swear by the B18B and others always go for the h22. I think it’s up to your budget.

 

Like frozenacid said its all about budget, i only got the ls cause i couldn't afford the h22 or the B18C, for the price the ls is could but i am planning on swapping a b18c in this winter cause it has way more aftermarket support.

 

any 1 got a b18b or b18c for sale or no?????
