I have a prelude from 94 but im pretty sure it will be in a similar area, On the top of your intake manifold "plenium" opposite side of the throttle body "driver side", look down in the side of the manifold plenium. Its a piece of plastic that is screwed in by two phillips head screws; and all's it has is a sensor that plugs in to it from there you can't miss it but I bet you wondered what the hell that was for. hope I helped

oh i have a 94 prelude si, but since that was no help and no one with a civic seems to be smart enough to tell you than I would say go get a Haynes or Chilton and then you'll know. I can't be wrong with that answer!!!HAHA, goodluck

Hey,
It's on the top of the intake manifold, whether it be on the body of the manifold or the runners, it's a 2-wire temperature sensor...
You really can't miss it...

Actually if you really have no clue, take a pic and we'll tell you, or even better yet, search google images for "b16 intake manifold" or something
then post it on here, then we can tell you exactly where it's at...

Hey man,
Sorry but I cannot make out the IAT sensor in your picture. Easiest thing for you to do, IMO, is to go to the closest auto parts store and either buy (good idea if you work on ur own car) or even just look through a repair manual (preferably Hanes) for the section regarding engine emissions. I'm sure you will find a good explanation or even a picture of the sensor.

Or just ask around, especially at the auto parts store for someone with a "hooked" up Honda/Acura, and ask them if they know what it is and if they could show you. It will take them like 2 mins, besides maybe you can meet a new friend, hehe.

Hope this helps...
