V-tech?

Default V-tech?

OK I Just bought a 98 honda civic ex....everyone is telling me I have v-tech becuz my car redlines @ 7,000rpm....but hten other people are telling me it doesnt have v-tech becuz it doesnt say it anywhere on the car. SO who the fudge do I believe?! I looked up specs and everything on the car and it says singe cam...so Im just wondering if anyone can help me figure this dumb question out!!!....It "sounds and feels" like it has v-tech but im so confused lol anyone have any idea please let me know a.s.a.p.....
