wanting to be loud and proud|school me
hahHhHaAAhaHAHa :lmfao: .. sorry.. i just had to let it out.. okay back to the question.. you can run open header?? itll be abnoxiously loud, but then you might throw a CEL since yer car is obd2.. closest your car will ever sound to a muscle car is to get the flowmaster axleback (not sure if they made it for your year) or just bring it to a muffler shop and have them throw one on... unless you wanna get creative and throw in a 302 or 350 under the hood??
hehe..
hehe..
if you want it to sound like it's throwing power it's going to have to throw power.
a turbo plus good sized exhaust has both a sound deadening effect as well as a sound increasing effect.
:edit:
and because the firing order is 1-2-3-4 and not 1/5-2/6-3/7-4/8 none of the pulses hit each other. that is what gives v6's and v8's their distinctive sound.
the closest you can get to that is having a boxer 4 with unequal length headers.

That's not the firing order or a honda motor.
