Default a_integra_87's turbo install thread!

Yes, i know my car is not a integra...but its got a integra drivetrain so i guess that counts.

Please, dont mind the car it has not been washed in over 3 weeks, i just picked up the clips for that side molding today, and its getting painted tomorrow...and even though you cant see it i lost my passenger side side skirt somewhere on a road a few weeks back .

Anyway here is my thread, install wont take (hopefully) as long as others on here as everything MUST be done sunday, then monday ill work the kinks out and tuesday at 6am i head for my 3hr SLOW drive to the tuners.
Nuff talk, here are a few pics.

Start of the day. Left work 5hrs early today to run to the Honda dealer, and start on this. Here she is when i got home at about 2pm.

2hrs later, here she is...bumper off, complete exhaust and intake off, and tranny out. I dont have a 12 point 10mm for the clutch so I had to stop...take a swim cause its damn hot out then run to a buddies.

ooooops...forgot to drain the trans fluid, nothing a little kitty litter cant handle

Thats all for now, i have to get back to work. Ill snap more pics later tonight. The goal for tonight is to change the clutch, drop oil pan and weld the fitting. Install trans.

Then tomorrow everything else is going to happen.

Heres the setup
bone stock JDM b18b (obd2)
JDM gsr trans (will be going to ls trans very soon...too much highway driving for these short gears)
garrett t3/t04e 57trim .63ar
short tubular manifold
3'' SS Downpipe
open dump (for now)
tial 38mm
greddy type-s bov
2.25 hot, 2.5 cold piping
FMIC
vibrant 3'' exhaust
homemade catch can setup
Blitz dual SBC spec-s boost controller
autometer sport comp boost and oil press gauge
stealthmode oil line kit
walbro 255lph
rc550's
clutch specialties 6puck sprung clutch
and other crap i forget...

Now going to say what power im aiming for, because i dont want to be dissapointed if i dont reach it.

How much boost / hp are you planning on running?
Stock block?
Did you do a compression test?

Keep the GSR tranny. Didn't see any fuel management either. You are going to use Crome, right?

oh, sorry...just assumed that since rugsr and FooD posted there turbo installs there that I could too

J-K Tuning in Carlisle PA will be tunning it for me with Crome...alright were "trying" to hit 300whp. It will be run up to 13-15 psi fully stock motor...might seem like alot but i saw a few other 300+whp b18b's in the H-T thread.

I really dont like the gsr trans, regular driving is ok, but its quite annoying on the highway. I plan to eventually upgrade to a gsr motor so i wouldnt sell the gsr trans, just get a ls as well. Plus just starting this week 3rd gear is starting to grind a littleh:

Anyway ill get pics tomorrow when the snail is actually on, clutch is done, trans is back in everything bolted up. Time to run to home depot for some bolts and misc parts.

All this performence modding and your concerned with gas millage?

Did you do a compression test?

yes i've "heard" of the daily 300-350 whp and i've heard more countless stories of ringlands frying, you saw what happend to me. I would definatly do a compression test and run more moderate boost unless money isn't a concern and you have a back-up car.
