Default Electrical Fan Problem????

I have a 1997 Civic EX and I put in a Koyo Radiator and new electric fan 2 years ago. The other day my electric fan motor blew out so my car overheated. Today I replaced the electric fan with another one hooked it up but the fan never comes on. What could be the problem and a way to fix it???

Did you check the fan fuse? The old one may have blown the fuse before/when it blew.

How do you know the old fan motor blew out...it just didn't turn on? Did you ever try hooking it up straight to the battery to see if it would turn on? There's more than just the fan motor that controls the motor turning on.

Thermostat, fan switch/relay, etc
