Default Gsr Swap

I plan on swapping a GSR motor in my 96 ek hatch. I was wondering on what a reasonable gsr motor would go for. Plz help me out, just so i don't get ripped off.

First things first ... Going GSR b18c/1 your going to need the following parts .

-gsr throttle cable (usually purchase the year of the motor)
-aftermarket motor mounts (if you plan on being cheap and going with oem mounts you will then need the following)
- 99-00 si top transmission bracket
- 99-00 si rear t bracket
- 99-00 si motor bracket (it has two studs comming up , bolted to the b16a2 block)
- 99-00 si complete driverside mount
(since your EK is a 96 , its best to find a 96-98 civic ex engine harness)(unless you plan on going cheap and just using your stock nonvtec harness and splicing and rewiring vtec+knock)

Im pretty sure you can purchase a complete swap for a affordable price, Im from Texas and swaps down here go 1,800$ complete (axles,shiftlinkage,ecu,engineharness,etc...)

Let me know how it goes , you can also shop around local websites www.honda-tech.com , www.ebay.com .... GOOD LUCK
