Default Starting a swap

Hey guys, I already got the donor GSR for my '00 Si. The thing is that the GSR is 2001 and so comes with the immobilizer. What are my options here? RicoD helped me out and directed me to a thread with some info on this swap, it said that modifications to engine harness are needed and I will need an adapter to install the p72 ecu.

My question is if I use GSR engine harness will the immobilizer let the car start up? If not, what are the ways to by pass it? Or am I better off buying and older p72 obd2 and if so then what are the years that I can use those (96-99?).

While we are on the swap subject, I do not have the stock Si radiator and so can I use the one from the GSR? And most importantly, will I be able to keep the AC with the b18c1 swap? I'm guessing that the mounting of the radiator is not perfect but what can be done here?

I know I ask a lot of questions right now, but this is my first swap and I want to get it perfect the first time. Any input on this is appreciated.

P.S. I also posted this up in Civic section but I figured Teg guys should have more insider info, being the owners of tegs.

Moved to Engine Tech & Tuning... you'll get the best reception there.

I beleive you will need to run a 99-00 si engine harness 100% Go ahead an purchase an obd2b p72 ecu your car should start up fine .
Yes you would be able to use the GSR radiator ,.... but you might as well just keep your stock 99-00 civic si radiator ,... less hassel... LMK how your swap goes ,... I can guide you through steps if nessasary... PM me if you need help GOOD luck ...
